Our 6th Year Geography students recently went on their field trip to Shankhill River outside Manorkilbride in Wicklow. The weather held up for all three classes and allowed students to enjoy the outdoors and autumnal colours and sights.
The trip was a part of their Leaving Cert project work to examine and study river features. Students measured the speed and width of the river along with the slope and shape of the valley. Our budding geographers really enjoyed the day out and are now working hard on their project write ups!
