On Tuesday 15th December students in TCS had a lovely day of Christmas celebrations and festivities. This year saw the arrival of our TCS Christmas Community Tree which has been set up in the school canteen. All students in the school contributed to decorating the tree by hanging their very own Christmas wish on it. It was a lovely way for the school community to come together and share their hopes for the future. We saw wishes that ranged from Christmas presents, an end to Covid-19, to spending time with family and friends.
We also celebrated Christmas jumper day. All students wore a festive Christmas jumper to school as part of our school fundraiser for a very worthy cause; Crumlin's Children's Hospital. Well done to all that contributed. We are delighted to announce that so far we have raised over €1400.
On that day we were also lucky enough to have our annual TCS Christmas dinner. This year, each class group enjoyed their full Christmas dinner in their classrooms. Everyone was delighted to be treated to a Christmas meal and to still get to celebrate this TCS tradition.
Our traditional School Carol Service also could not happen in the same way this year but we still got to enjoy some lovely Christmas songs and messages in a new virtual way. It was lovely way to mark the end of a very difficult term. You can watch the Carol Service here on the news section of the website.
