From 7th- 11th March we celebrated Engineering Week here in TCS. Lots of our students had the chance to try out some puzzles and trivia in class. The highlight of the week was our very own Escape room, designed and put together by Ms. Finlayson and some of our Transition Year students. Over the course of the week lots of teams got involved and got their chance to break out of the room against the clock. The room put teamwork and problem solving to the test with great excitement amongst the teams.
Well done to our overall winners the staff team Chloe's Angels with a time of 26.03 and 1 hint. The team was made up of Ms. Wynne, Ms. Quinn, Mr. Sheridan and Mr. Dunne.
Our Junior Winners were Noah Mc Parling and Ben Doyle with a time of 33.27 and zero hints. Our Senior Cycle winners were Shannon Seery, Casey O Neill, Keren Agbassah, Katelyn Dunne, Sarah O Toole and Diana Crissan with a time of 28.15 and 2 hints.
The Escape room also allowed us to raise €400 for the Laura Lynn Foundation. Well done to all those who got involved and donated.
