On Thursday 23rd May, TCS girls made history by winning the Junior Girls' Leinster Soccer Championship. After a fantastic season, we were so proud of the girls when they made it to the final. They have shown dedication to their training all year and it was great to see them being rewarded for all their hard work. They also have shown such great team work over the season. They deserved a great send off to the final so we surprised them with a guard of honour wishing them well on the way to the match. During the game, the girls showed such determination and bounced back when the other team scored the first goal. A particular mention to captain Ella Kelly who showed great leadership throughout. In the end we finished with a winning score of 4-2. The celebrations were waiting back in TCS for them and the girls got a champions welcome!
