The TCS drama club meets afterschool once a week. During this time, students get the opportunity to meet students from different classes and year groups. The club attracts an array of unique individuals who have a passion for the performing arts. The drama club provides a safe space for participants to develop their speech and language skills, their performance skills and their social skills. The highlight of the drama club’s year is the Act Up Festival which takes place in March of every year. Competitors have six weeks to learn and perform a one act play in the Rua Red theatre. Various prizes are awarded for best newcomer, best actor, best director and best overall ensemble on the night.
