Since the commencement of Garda Youth Awards in the locality, Tallaght Community School has recognised a number of students for their positive contribution to the school and the wider community in which they live.
The Garda Youth Awards, at Divisional and National level, celebrate young people for their activities and efforts which make their communities a better place.
