Girl’s Basketball at TCS is run over four teams. 1st year (Minor), 2nd year (Junior), under 16 and under 19. Training is once a week on a Monday or Tuesday. The under 16 and under 19 teams compete before Christmas, and the 1st and 2nd years compete from January onwards. All teams compete in the Post Primary Schools Competition run by Basketball Ireland. In addition to that, each year we also compete in the 2rd year Garda League in the National Basketball Area, a competition which the girls have been winners of in the past!
